The third card in NVIDIA’s new SUPER lineup has landed, becoming the new top-end offering of the bunch (but still sitting far enough behind the 2080 Ti). 1440p 144hz gaming . If you get G-sync/Freesync it will still look smooth even when you drop below 144. A 1070ti is still pretty viable at 1440p, especially with gsync. Some people have fixed it by running the slow display off their igpu (which you'll have to activate in BIOS), some people fix it by ratcheting their 144hz down to 120hz, so that it's a multiple of 60. In terms of sheer airflow, 2 200mm intakes will clobber 3 120mm intakes. There’s no point of having a $1200 card that can push 144hz at 1440p, for you to only run it on a dusty-old 1080p monitor capable of only 60Hz!
