Food served is very consistently wonderful. I think our server was Chris, I forgot our receipt, but Dan knows who I am referring too as he was outstanding! This is one place that will NOT disappoint! My red & yellow beet salad was the best I’ve had in years, and I’m glad I ordered the truly delicious grilled salmon alongside. My only complaint is the required wearing of masks. Food is exceptional! Shore made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. We had the snapper & grouper , I would highly recommend those dinners to anyone. Will be regular stop for us this summer. This love of farm-to-table produce has survived throughout the generations and is apparent in the cuisine found in Longboat Key today. Great docking space, great venue with all the necessary Covid-19 precautions. Never saw our server after we ordered until we waved her down for check.
fantastic. Should you prefer to dine upstairs in The Haye Loft for a more casual meal & atmosphere you can just walk right on up. Dock and passing boats create an island setting while you browse the menu over a creative cocktail. The desserts were amazing, too. He enjoyed the craft bourbon cocktails as well. The lunch food was mediocre...all I can remember is the wilted "grilled" asparagus. The calamari appetizer was fabulous, and the grouper sandwich was awesome. The first night was fantastic but the 2nd night was not!
Love it! The restaurant has so much ambience, you can tell they took as much care in designing it as they do in their food and the service was top notch. Exceptional setting and high quality food. Of course, the food and drinks are great too. Staff is super friendly and professional. The first drink on the menu, that required mint as the main ingredient actually had no mint at all and the blood orange cocktail did not feature blood orange. Salmon ordered well done came rare. This is one place that will NOT disappoint! We loved our seat positioned waterside. We are currently asking that all guests wear masks both to and from their table.
