The only reason they had good Nclex pass rates was because only a couple of people made it to test. Like I said I did. I am speaking up so this does not happen to anyone else. They truly care for the Students that attend their school. I have faced a few of my own personal obstacles before and during my time at Fortis, but the best advice I could give anyone is to keep pushing forward. I can truly say that every program (Dental, Medical Assisting, HVAC, Nursing, and Massage Therapy) are phenomenal programs!
We were really upset because we were lied to. They do not finish out the semester. Also I needed something that would balance out family life so having a school that I didn’t have to attend daily was great and no weekends as well. The ma program have some amazing teachers especially Mrs. Carl and Mrs. A. some advice for anyone who wants to become a medical assistant, this is the perfect school for you :), Fortis was a great expierence from the registration process to graduation their staff assisted me and every step of the way. We are limited to certain jobs and few facilities will even recognize or acknowledge our education due to the school not being accredited.I have applied to several jobs that turned me away due to this accreditation, with the government VA being one. Had a great experience with Fortis College.
We were told the campus president, Richard Mallow, was not available. She truly cares about her students. With hard work and dedication you will succeed at Fortis college.
