Trouble is, a unscrupulous businessman (Cesar Romero) learns about it and decides he can use that formula, thank you, for something illegal.

Russell is a genial leading screw-up who comes through when it really counts. A college professor invents an anti-gravity substance which a corrupt businessman wants for himself. Professor Dooley takes home a duck from his research laboratory as a pet for his son, but soon finds out that it lays golden eggs.
When Professor Brainard experiments further on Flubber derivatives, he gets in trouble and only his students can help.
However, the bees sting the student and he turns out to be allergic.

However, the bees sting the student and he turns out to be allergic.
