I can speak from experience when I say that doing a podcast is an enormous amount of time and effort and work and it can be very easy to feel like all of that effort is wasted because nobody is listening to your podcast. I first discovered Paul through Mr. Show, which I came to in college (2000/2001 or so). I often say "Greatest hits albums are for housewives and little girls." If I had a podcast, I would do everything I could (without being a real pest) to get Paul on.

Pump the Jam ! I recently have started listening to Punch Up The Jam from episode #1, after finishing episodes about the bulk of songs whose titles I recognised at first glance. I cannot reiterate how much that line destroyed me. I’m also saddened that Demi Adejuyigbe will be leaving Punch Up the Jam, one of my all-time favorite new podcasts, less than two years into its glorious run. I was sad that these wonderful, soothing, funny, gentle, deeply human voices that brought me so much amusement and laughter and comfort through the years would not collectively be an essential part of my podcast diet going forward. These comedians have demonstrated me another side of humor, and I decided to take a piece of their killing show.
