John - Sure, on paper the front axle in relation to the hands for the Marrakesh Flat is slightly more forward than it is on the Marrakesh Drop, but no more so than someone who runs a flat bar on a drop bar frame design (moves hands artificially back) or someone touring on a MTB (like our El Mariachi with a Firestarter fork).
