The Substance Abuse Monitoring System (S.A.M.S) Program conducts random drug and alcohol testing and monitors individuals for compliance with court orders, conditions of bond or community control, and/or substance abuse treatment programs. Complying with conditions of supervision without sanctions, Improvement of behavior since last sanction, Compliance with Home Arrest/GPS monitoring, Actively participating in ORAS case plan or completion of case plan goals, Or any other behavior deemed appropriate by each Officer, Reduce number of Sam Program days (max 30 day reduction), Certificates of Completion from Community Service, Crossroads Program, Sam Program, ISP, General Supervision, Reduction in the number of days on Home Arrest (example: ½ time review and staff with Supervisor), Reduced Reporting (Staff with Supervisor), Or any other reward deemed appropriate by each Officer/Supervisor. In the structured approach of RRR offenders are given access to evidence based treatments and programing to build the necessary skills to live productive crime-free lives. The MIP is a court-supervised program that offers specialized drug treatment programming for individuals while on community control supervision. Program Administration: Medina County Adult Probation Department and the Court Community Service Program function as the administrative arm, processing referrals from the Honorable James L. Kimbler and the Honorable Christopher J. Collier of the Medina County Court of Common Pleas, providing complete placement, management, and follow-through of the offender.
