Happy April 1st a.k.a. Things may look and feel a bit different, but it is important for us to take this school year one week at a time.
Our teachers have made signs and videos thanking our parents for all they do during this unprecedented time. I cannot stress it enough, we want to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, mask wearing is one simple thing we can all do to stop the spread of COVID-19. A recurring theme in the survey comments was the consistency factor. As we continue to work on this document, we’d like to make you aware of some of the major components so that you can plan. Virtual students should practice a drill at home too! We will all be masked and will be practicing physical distancing as much as possible.
We will follow the same plan as we have for our past drop offs and pickups. And a very special thank you to Mr. Nolan Van Wert that spent all day Sunday creating such a great video. Although we are hopeful that the furlough will be short and that we are able to recall employees as soon as possible, there is no guarantee when this may happen.

Celebrating the Triduum is such a special time in our liturgical year and Holy Week is always a treasured time of year for families as the culmination of Lent comes to an end. They have this figured out and instruction is followed up with independent work, so I do not feel that the students are being over-crammed or short-changed with any school work.
We will be printing report cards in June, arrangements can hopefully be made to hand them out or mail them to you.

This week teachers will be scheduling specific Zoom times to introduce students to the platform.
It is our hope to have this VBS next summer. The county has been back and forth with orders concerning private schools. As a school, I have signed up for Zoom and some teachers have been connecting using Google Meets or Google Hangouts for on-line class meetings. Our K to 4 teachers will still keep with their schedules of 5 days of instruction.
