Spring leek velouté, smoked haddock & poached quails eggs, Pigs cheek ravioli, celeriac purée, caper & parsley sauce, Roast Poussin, Arran mustard & tarragon tagliatelle, roast onions, smoked bacon, Fillet of sea bream with new season asparagus, ratte potatoes & Maltaise sauce, Caramelised pineapple, gingerbread & coconut ice cream, Poached rhubarb, baba, mascarpone & vanilla cream, JeanHuckert, Manager at The Pompadour, responded to this review, Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in, the district’s busy main roads.

The views from the dining room are good.The one thing that did feel a bit cold was the service, it did feel we were dining in the 1930's with way too many 'Sir's and Madame's'  it would do them a favour if they gauged their audience a bit better, however, I fear that they constantly expect the Michelin reviewer and act accordingly.So, in summary the experience is as you would expect of this kind and price of restaurant. Between 2012 and 2019 the restaurant had traded as Pompadour by Galvin under the group headed by brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin.

Much to our surprise we found the menu to have that exact seasonal menu to be ..£29.

We had a super dinner, the food was excellent but... but, the service was not good. Ate there Friday night. Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor. I am sure there is a reason for this, there should be.. Everything from the temperature of the meat to the seasoning was perfect. We ate at Pompadour last night and can honestly say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Tends to argue and does not like getting stock from other restaurants in the building It appeared to us that the maitre d was off, everything was just slightly off.More, This iconic 95 year old restaurant is amazing! The rest of the dining room is a little Wedgewood - pale blues and off whites. Well established restaurant group based in southern Spain is seeking...
